Love, Aisyah

January 20, 2019

Wow, it has been nearly a year since I last blogged. I was spending so much time creating content for my Instagram, I embarrassingly forgot about my blog. But happy new year! May this be a better year for all us.

The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to share about a new local brand. I was introduced to it through my colleague. So just about 2 months ago, I met up with the founder for lunch, Maggie or you can call her Aisyah too as she's a Muslim convert about slightly more than a decade ago.

Happy 2018! Time really flies when you are super busy. After the birth of Raheel, I barely had time for myself. I am back to work since November which means my only me-time is when I am in the office. Alhamdulillah, Raheel just turned 6 months, which means, I can slot in some gym time, a date with the husband and so much more!

One of the things I managed to do recently is going to a flower arrangement workshop by A Better Florist! I have been dying to join one and when I saw the opportunity, I had to go!

[ADVERTORIAL] The New Generation Jamu: ADORE

August 19, 2017

I'm the kind who have no difficulties consuming medicine even if it's tasteless but the postnatal jamu was by far the worse I have ever tasted in my whole life. As you all know, previously when I was going through my detoxing phase before I got married, I actually consumed Audela. I swore by it because it helps my slow bowel movement a lot. It was so satisfying.

When I found out I was pregnant a few months later, I stopped because it's not suitable for pregnant ladies. And then I heard of the new product, the sister of Audela, called Adore.

Wow it's been months since my last post and one of the reasons for the lack of updates is because I was heavily pregnant and now a mother. Yes, if you follow my Instagram, I gave birth last month to Raheel Zayan! It was definitely an interesting experience that I will never forget. And now I am taking one day at a time, trying to get to know my son and be the best mother for him. May Allah ease!

I was in the labour room for about 6 hours before I gave birth and to be honest, it was shorter than I have imagined. I have to thank the crazy amount of walks (especially when I was in Seoul!), the birth workshops and talks I attended and of course, prenatal yoga!

Nursing & Maternity

April 01, 2017

I have been missing for so long but it feels like a really good short break, to be honest. What I've been busy with? Well....making a baby. I think so many of you already knew I am now 5 months pregnant and it has been an interesting but smooth journey, Alhamdulillah.
