Daiso Favourites

August 28, 2014

Who doesn't like Daiso? A store filled with $2 necessities of all sorts. So I finally got the time to consolidate my favourite cosmetics from Daiso. Yes, I use cosmetics from Daiso. It took a while to find these gems, though. I had to do trial and errors a lot of times.

But fortunately, I would like to make it easier for you, so you know which one to grab the next time you head there!

Eyebrow Pencil

Before Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade exists in my life, I used this for my eyebrows and it worked just as well. It's quite pigmented and to be honest, I didn't really expect that. It is easy to use and you don't need to apply too much to define your eyebrows.

I bought this Mascara because I needed something for my bottom lashes which are short and thin. I needed a mascara with a smaller brush so by the end of application, I won't look like a panda. It isn't the best, but it does it's job. It's good with top lashes too!

False Eyelashes

I went a little nuts on these lashes because...they are cheap! And there are so many to choose from. I wasn't a big fan of falsies. I found them troublesome and uncomfortable but I realise it's probably because I have been wearing them the wrong way. Also because my top lashes are long, and I bought natural looking ones which won't work for me at all! So I finally got the dramatic ones which look natural on my eyes. =.=

Brush/Sponge Cleaner

I have a collection of brushes and I clean the weekly so you imagine the amount of brush cleaner I need a month. I found a cheaper alternative which works just as well as the high-end ones. A friend mentioned that she used this, I was a little doubtful since it's only $2! I mean how can something so cheap works so well?

But it worked so well I stocked up the following month. This one is a miracle, I promise! Just looked at how easy I did it.

Pearl Powder

A few girls asked how I managed to get that 'glowing' look on my face. I used my highlighter, of course! I used to be a fan of matte finish but I realised dewy finishes look better and more natural on me. Yes, I do have a bit of shine on my face but it's not too bad. If you are really, really, oily, you can't use a little bit of highlighter under your eyes. I use this for the inner corner of my eyes as well as to highlight underneath my brow to give a more, awake and fresh look.

Okay, so those are my favourites so far! If I find any new ones, I will probably release a second part! Till the next post everyone! xx
